Made for school use by Stanley 1933-1983. These unbreakable steel block planes are under rated. They are indestructible and have the most secure, no-nonsense lever cap of any in the Stanley line. They are the lowest angle at 12 degrees and not subject to mouth fractures like the cast iron counterparts. They are also light weight so they don’t bog down your tool belt or shop apron.
